How to boot your computer using Android Wake On Lan | WOL



In this video, I'm going to show you how you can use your Android phone to power your Windows PC using Wake on Lan (WOL).

This works on the following operating systems:
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Windows 8
Windows 8.1

    LOL It's a bitch im suck at step one for 100's of times now! I TURN OFF THE COMPUTER AND GO TO THE BIOS AND THE VIEDO TURNS OFF! go figure? WHERE IS THE FUCKING ANYKEY!

    Hi… can it be done remotely?? I mean, do I have to be on the same network to turn the computer on or I can be driving home and use de Android phone to turn on you computer from everywhere?

    it's not working for me my wifi light flashes at the back of my PC when I click connect host on mobile but my PC doesnt start

    why it only shows pci bus clocks? 🙁

    and i can't find network adapter.. its only has 2 adapter vpn adapter and usb adapter..

    my motherboard is msi 970

    Why did you set up Port forwarding? If you're only using Wake on LAN from your local network there shouldn't be any reason to set up Port forwarding. If you're wanting to WoL remotely, you'd need to configure your phone to use the the routers WAN IP and not the computers LAN IP.

    What would make sense to set up is static IP addresses so that your computer is always assigned the same IP address

    Hi, What is your setting in Tasker to Open/Close the WOL App. I can reach only the step : Open the App, but it doent send out the wol signal and close the App.

    would it be possible to open my computer in canada with my phone if im in NY. so then ill be able to open my laptop and log on my canada computer with teamview application?
