    Files (previously Files Go) is a lite app designed for low end android devices and it was created to clean up the device and not actually manage the files. You can't compress and do lots of other things in it. It's not a full fledged file manager but a cleaner app with file browsing feature 🙂

    Sir files by google comes pre-installed on almost all new devices now, users only download some other file manager to access root directory or for having some extra functionality.

    Files (file manager app) is pre-installed in my Mi A1. Files Go is the file manager made by Google, technical sagar why have you missed this point?

    yaar ab developers sirf file manager pe depend to nahi karte na kaie tarah ki apps aur bhi bana te hain agar ek file manager na bana paie to baaki to kkam hai na industry mein so it's not a big deal.

    Why ES file explorer is removed from play store ???
    I've downloaded ES from black market, and for least risk, I've disabled network access for ES File explorer..
